About the area
The Granite Belt region is located south-west of Brisbane in Queensland. Centered around the town of Stanthorpe, the Granite Belt has a long history of viticulture and winemaking and is one of the highest wine regions in Australia, with vineyards at more than 1000 metres above sea level.

Rainwater is considered the purest form of water. We utilise our rainwater collected from our cellar door and workshop roof, then triple filter it, then run it through a UV sterilizer that kills any bacteria, parasites or viruses that may naturally occur in a water system.
Crafted in 2020, our traditional mead has undergone a 3-year aging process, followed by a further 12 months maturation in authentic American oak barrels, previously used for Granite Belts famous red wine. Its flavour profile boasts a nice balance of tannins and gentle oak, yet ends with a light but refined finish.
Our Aged Traditional style mead contains no added preservatives and is expertly made using our modern signature methods.
