Rainwater is considered the purest form of water. We utilise our rainwater collected from our cellar door and workshop roof, then triple filter it, then run it through a UV sterilizer that kills any bacteria, parasites or viruses that may naturally occur in a water system.
This pyment mead is created through the age-old practice of fermenting honey with red grapes, a method that brings together two natural ingredients in harmony. The result is a traditional style mead with a gentle fruit character that reflects the richness of the grapes and the depth of our honey. The finish is dry and clean, making it a straightforward expression of meadmaking heritage. Every bottle is produced at Mount Stirling Meadery in Queensland’s Granite Belt, where our family of beekeepers continues the craft of transforming honey into modern mead.
